Good Technology: Designing an award-winning PR campaign
Good Technology, a mobile security company, had a sparse online presence with little to differentiate themselves from competitors. They retained Spark Public Relations to create a social program that would increase their visibility among press, influencers, customers, and partners.
THE PLAN: Spark positioned Good as a mobile security leader by socially sharing news, data, and industry trends on a daily basis across multiple platforms. But to really put Good on the map, Spark created a focused campaign that tapped into popular concerns about work/life balance. This campaign included PR, video, infographics, contests, and data-driven reports. As Spark’s designer, I contributed heavily to the campaign’s look and feel, and created all of the graphic assets.
RESULTS: The Good Technology “Work/Life Balance” campaign was an award-winning success that exceeded expectations:
8.5M social media impressions and 68.8M media impressions
Over 300% growth on social media handles in one year
Winner of the 2012 Bulldog Reporter Gold Award for “Best Use of Digital/Social for a Consumer Technology Campaign”
